SymGolf emerged from the heart of a family dream, rooted in a deep love for golf and a determination to make the sport more accessible for everyone. In 2022, we faced a common frustration: the difficulty of practicing golf consistently amidst busy schedules and unpredictable weather. We wanted to build a golf simulator for our home, but the market presented daunting challenges. The simulator setups on the market were prohibitively expensive, often costing $96,000 or more (golfsheds.com), not including on-site installation, a launch monitor system, a computer, or a projector, and piecing together the right technology was a nightmare with countless launch monitors, projectors, and software options to sift through—many of which were incompatible or lacked reliability. Installation was another hurdle; assembling enclosures, calibrating equipment, and programming software often required technical expertise we didn’t have, leading to weeks of trial and error. Determined to solve these problems, we founded SymGolf in 2024, pooling our skills and experience to create a seamless solution. We’ve spent two years researching and testing, partnering with top brands like Foresight Sports and BenQ to curate the best launch monitors (e.g., GCQuad) and projectors (e.g., LK936ST), while developing custom enclosures and sheds that fit any space. We tackled installation woes by designing modular, all-in-one packages with shipping and installation included, ensuring golfers could start hitting balls without the hassle. By 2025, we launched SymGolf as a trusted name, offering affordable packages and proving that we could overcome industry challenges to bring the joy of golf to homes everywhere.
